Led supplemental instruction sessions for SER321: Distributed Software Systems, running three weekly Zoom meetings and exam review sessions to help students master Java networking, AWS, and distributed design patterns.
As an SI Leader for SER321: Distributed Software Systems at Arizona State University, I facilitated supplemental instruction through three one-hour Zoom sessions per week and two-hour exam review sessions each semester.
Sessions covered Java networking fundamentals, server application deployment on AWS EC2, and general distributed system design concepts including JSON serialization, Protocol Buffers, and gRPC. I worked closely with students to debug technical issues and reinforce lecture material through hands-on exercises.
